A year after a big crypto flash crash, BTC and ETH recovered, altcoins haven't

No clear lean
Good news for major coins, lingering risk for smaller ones
What happened

Last year there was a sudden, sharp crash where crypto prices dropped fast because there wasn't enough buying and selling activity to keep prices stable (this is called 'liquidity'). A year later, Bitcoin and Ether have rebuilt that healthy trading activity, but smaller coins (altcoins) still have thin, fragile markets that could crash hard again.

Why it matters

If you hold Bitcoin or Ether, the market around them is sturdier than it was. If you hold smaller altcoins, they're still more vulnerable to sudden, exaggerated price swings during market stress.

Should I do anything?

No action needed. This is just a reminder that altcoins tend to be bumpier and less stable than Bitcoin or Ether, which is worth keeping in mind if you ever look at them.
