DBS and Citi tested weekend bank transfers using blockchain tech

No clear lean
Interesting infrastructure test, but no direct impact on crypto holders
What happened

Two big banks, DBS and Citi, successfully moved US dollars between each other over a weekend using a new system called Swift's Digital Ledger, combined with something called tokenized deposits. Normally bank transfers pause on weekends because traditional banking systems are closed, but this test showed money can move using blockchain-style tech instead.

Why it matters

This is banks experimenting with blockchain technology for their own internal plumbing, not a new coin or investment you can buy. It matters mostly as a sign that traditional finance is slowly adopting crypto-adjacent tech, which could make banking faster someday.

Should I do anything?

Nothing to do here. This doesn't affect your crypto holdings or require any action.
