Cash App now lets users buy more crypto types through MoonPay
No clear lean
Feature expansion for users, not a price or risk event.
What happened
Cash App previously only let you buy bitcoin and USDC (a stablecoin) directly. Now, through a partnership with MoonPay, a company that handles crypto purchases for apps, Cash App users can buy a wider range of cryptocurrencies without leaving the app.
Why it matters
This is mostly about convenience and access, not a market-moving event. If you already use Cash App, it just means more coin options; if you don't, nothing changes for you.
Should I do anything?
No action needed. If you try buying new coins through this feature, just know MoonPay may charge its own fees on top of Cash App's.
Terms used
